I'm an enthusiastic and adventurous young web developer who has recently gradutated from Udacity's Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree credential. I've learned a great deal and I'm ready to pursue my dream career in software and web development.
My first experience with web development was when I was around 12 years old. I had been playing on the website Neopets for quite some time, which allowed for the creation of simple custom HTML pages for your pets. Developing detailed and CSS styled websites was a trend among my friends and I wanted to be in on the action. After HTML tutorials and CSS help from friends, I set to work developing original websites for all of my Neopet pages. I was enthralled.
I've been developing web pages intermittently ever since those days. Nowadays, I still seek to capture my childhood confidence in my abilities. Back then, I never doubted myself when I had a project I wanted to build. I aim to remind myself that no matter how messy or long or tedious learning a new skill may be, I can get there eventually.
Extra Credit:
The posters for my movie were all relatively dark, so I darkened the color scheme considerably. The header was a Bootstrap navbar with preset colors, so I decided to remove its links to Bootstrap and make it a simple header instead. I also imported a fun Google Font to switch things up.
More interestingly, I was able to further alter fresh_tomatoes.py to collect storyline information from the movie objects and used that to add the ability to see a movie's storyline on hover.
